Biplab and Pinki
Kabir's parents, Bangalore
It has been a little over twenty-seven months since our two-and-half year old son, Kabir, started attending Little Millennium preschool. As all of we know – new steps create new feelings – not just for our kids, but for us as well. When our little one started preschool, it is such a new step.
We have to confess that initially we had different views about preschool. For a brief moment we questioned the need of preschool. However, we had decided to get his admission with a hope that he will be involved in some activities. Over the period that mind set up has changed. We write this letter to share few of our thoughts.
Almost two and half years ago, on January 5, 2015, when we dropped off our son on his first day at preschool and, after saying goodbye, we were worried about his new experiences without us, and being taken care of by others. All parents experience emotional lousiness. Thank you for your support which make us steady and we could be a smooth emotional bridge for our children.
Thanks a lot for your patience while introducing our son to the concept of school. In those days my son would have been either fall in love with 'school', or be discouraged by it. Your energy, creativity and passion demonstrate that you understand this and inculcate a love of learning in all your students.
Thank you for your welcoming presence at each school day that brightens up the mood of all the kids in school. “Good Morning Kabir – Good Morning Teacher.” They always look forward to seeing you every day. Thank you for your encouragement, our child is excited to wake up early and prepare for school day. Each day when my son comes home, he has a lot of things to say about his experience at the school. Thank you for your appreciation about the kid's individuality. Thank you for introducing my child to participate in basic chores at home. Thank you to develop his consciousness. He follows traffic instructions and ensures that we follow the same. He is aware enough about the people around us, who help us, their activities and so on.
As our son moves to the next school – Baldwin Boy's High School, we are happy to say that he is a more confident and enthusiastic boy now. This is all because of you.
We are really grateful to all of you for the valuable teaching that helped to shape my son's understanding. Thank you so much for your efforts. Wish you all the best for your future endeavours.
